Hello readers! My name is Jeff West and I have embarked on a 7 month adventure from the United States to Timaru, New Zealand. I am here teaching tennis in the South Canterbury region. JEFF! Wow, looks incredible. Love the blog idea, be sure to add picts often. Work hard, learn all you can, but most of all, enjoy it! I’ll let you know if I’m in the neighborhood (China!)

Hi Jeff,
I came across your blog as I was searching for some suggestions for my upcoming travels to NZ. Im traveling with my husband leaving in April until the end of June so, I dont have as much time as you had. My husband is an engineer and will be workign to rebuild the devastation that occurred in Christchurch and my job allows me to also work from NZ which is awesome. Were hoping to spend our time on the weekends traveling and taking advantage of all NZ has to offer.
From your time spent there can you narrow down the must see activities/places. We just found out were going and I have been overloaded with places to visit from searching online. Your suggestions are appreciated!
